IT Communication Manager

Our prestigious multinational end client in the French Speaking part of Switzerland (Geneva / Lausanne) is now looking for its IT Communication Manager (French and English speaking). This is a permanent position at the client’s headquarter.

THE ROLE:

As IT Communication Manager you will act as an advisor for the Head the IS/IT department. You will suggest what key information for the major transformation projects and the department should be presented to employees/departments/markets, the methods by which it should be delivered and the timing for the information’s release. You also will define and implement the communication strategy (plan) for IS/IT major projects with the change stakeholders.

Major projects related:
Related to the major transformation projects you will prepare a strategic communication plan for the company. This plan should include goals for the company’s communications, the methods the company will use to achieve those goals, and the time frame in which the steps will be executed and customized to different markets.

YOU WILL:

Build communication toolkit for large projects and with projects managers
Define requested reports and KPI’s for communication area
Identify different profiles’ groups to communicate to and differentiate communication strategy
Raise high-level and detailed communication plan all along the program
Fulfill any communication requirements with internal or external suppliers to the IS/IT department
Be able to coach managers, guiding them to prepare speeches, presentations
Promote communication objectives and best practices across the several program teams
Provide support to project managers and markets to deal with communication questions and concerns
Promote the department through communication on success towards markets and other department at HQ
Report any communication and give support to solve it

YOUR PROFILE:

Degree in Business administration or communication
Excellent communication skills in French and English (speaking, writing and presentation)
5 to 10 years experience in communication/ multinational environment
Experience in large program/projects as Communication manager related to ERP implementation
Distinctive skills in planning & prioritizing
Knowledge in usual communication tools (PPT, intranet …) and MS Office tools
Ability to work with 3rd party suppliers
