ECOMMERCE PROJECT MANAGER

Our multinational client based in the French speaking part of Switzerland (Geneva, Lausanne) is now looking for an E-Commerce Project Manager.

This will be a permanent position.


As a member of the Business Applications team in the IT department, the project manager will provide the necessary project delivery competencies to internal customers for Commercial and Marketing departments, to answer the business needs. He/she is therefore responsible to manage a full development cycle project including close collaboration with the business, internal IT departments and external consultants.

The Role:

- Participate in business analysis for department as required by the HQ Departments and/or markets.

- Make the necessary Projects analysis. Manage and ensure project planning. Manage control project costs. Ensure the timeline and quality.

- Ensure cross teams coordination. The project Manager is the single point of contact concerning his projects. Provide regular feedback on project. Communicate with line managers for resources assigned to his projects.

- Follow the development with the Software Factory and external companies ensuring that the developments fit with the It strategy. Coordinate the external development team in collaboration with the Software Factory team members.

- Ensure project deliverables and quality. Test and validate the proposed developments / improvements for the implementation.

- Provide appropriate documentation, training and coaching to the Business Project Managers and ensure the follow-u of the installation.

- Answer the daily various requests from Departments to provide support on incidents qualified as Level 3.

- Participate to the future tool evolution and deployment.

Your Profile:

- Degree in Information Management (HES, HEC or University)
- Strong experience in internet, eCommerce, mobile and retail processes and solutions.
- Expertise in Project Management (3-5 years experience)
- Good business processes background
- Distinctive skills in planning & prioritizing
- Ability to identify and advice on an improvement action plan
- Good analytical and synthesis skills
- Proactive and solution-finding approach
- Good communication skills in English and French
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural & dynamic environment
- Hybris experiences is a nice to have
- Exposure to e-commerce projects with strong technical challenges (middleware integration, performance optimizations, security) is a plus

He/she will have to be service oriented, result focused, have initiative and Proactive cooperation.
